Enrique Montiel has pursued achievement of excellence for over half of his life as an athlete, entrepreneur, and human potential researcher. He is the inventor of the Achievement By Design, Living By Design, and Experience By Design human potential systems that he promotes in his private practice, through Life Enhancement Systems and BE Solutions Training. Enrique is also a published writer, accomplished independent film director, the founder of the Champion By Design Institute, and an Olympic Hopeful.
For over a decade Enrique has interviewed, studied, and modeled excellence in human behavior. Through his personal and professional growth lectures, seminars, and workshops, Enrique has trained people from all walks of life to measurably improve the quality of their personal and professional lives. Enrique has also served as a peak performance and turnaround consultant to many businesses, entrepreneurs, educators, top athletes, prison convicts, entertainers, students, young children, the clinically & chemically challenged, psychiatrists and psychologists.
As an Olympic style wrestler, Enrique has achieved All-American status and has qualified for and competed in the last two Final U.S. Olympic Team Trials respectively placing 8th in 1996 and 9th in 2000 at two different weight categories. Enriques 2000 ranking represented the greatest growth performance of only three 1996 105.5 lbs U.S. wrestlers (0.9%) to successfully transition into new weight categories forced by changes in international rules. Enrique is currently training to qualify for his third Final United States Olympic Team Trials competition (May 2004) where he will seek to fulfill his Olympic Mission and win a position on the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team.
Enrique Montiel is a San Diego, California native residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is currently conducting human potential research while training full time to become a member of the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team that will compete in Athens, Greece.
